Purpose and scope
This policy explains how TechSpokes handles errors and updates on techspokes.com. It applies to blog posts, feature guides, technical documentation, system behavior descriptions, and proof metrics.
Definitions
An error is a factual inaccuracy or materially misleading statement. A correction is a fix to an error with a clear note to readers. A clarification adds context where wording could be misread without changing the underlying fact. An update replaces information that has changed without the previous version being wrong.
How to request a correction
Use our contact page and include the following:
- the URL of the page containing the error
- the specific passage you believe is inaccurate
- the correction you are proposing
- a source or reference if available
Review and timeline
We log every request, check sources, and verify against current production behavior where relevant.
Errors that affect system behavior descriptions, pricing claims, or booking performance metrics are treated as urgent and reviewed as soon as possible. Standard editorial errors receive an acknowledgement within one business day and a resolution within five business days where feasible.
How corrections appear on the site
We fix the text and add a short note near the affected content stating what changed and when. We do not remove errors silently or without explanation.
Proof metric updates
Aggregate performance metrics, such as the total direct bookings across clients, are updated periodically. When the published figure is replaced with a newer one, the page is updated without a correction note unless the previous figure was materially inaccurate. If the previous figure was wrong, we treat it as an error and follow the standard correction process.
Escalation
If you disagree with how we handled a correction request, you can resubmit via our Actionable Feedback Policy. Appeals are reviewed by someone not involved in the original decision.
