Purpose and scope
TechSpokes publishes content and provides services for professional vacation rental managers. This page describes our commitments to serving that audience fairly and to maintaining accessible, inclusive content on techspokes.com.
Editorial diversity
Our content is written for vacation rental managers, and that audience is not uniform. Operators range from independent managers with 30 units to management companies handling hundreds of properties across multiple markets. Portfolio types, PMS configurations, regional contexts, and operational setups vary significantly.
We write for that full range. We do not skew content toward any particular subset, and we do not assume a single business model or software setup when describing problems or solutions. When a feature or recommendation applies only to specific configurations, we say so.
Inclusive language
We use plain, direct language. We avoid terminology that assumes a particular business model, portfolio structure, or geography without context. We use the audience labels that the community itself uses: property managers, vacation rental managers, management companies.
Accessibility
We follow accessibility best practices in content and site structure. This includes structured headings, alt text for images, adequate color contrast, short paragraphs, and mobile-friendly layouts. We aim for conformance with WCAG standards in content and navigation.
Accessibility feedback is prioritized and handled through our Actionable Feedback Policy.
What this policy does not cover
TechSpokes is a small, owner-operated company. We do not publish a staffing diversity report. This policy covers editorial content and service accessibility, not employment practices.
Reporting concerns
If you find content or conduct that conflicts with this policy, use our contact page. Reports are reviewed in good faith and without retaliation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change. Updates appear here with a new last updated date.
